The Notification Digest periodically sends your unread notifications in an email. This is a good way to catch up with what's happening when you're away, between meetings, or simply when you want to focus on your work.

While Email Notifications instantly sends one email for each new event as it occurs, the Notification Digest will hold new unread notifications for a selected period of time before sending you an email. The result is less emails, and increased visibility on what is happening in your Azendoo Workspaces.

The default time frame setting for the notification digest is one hour. In which case you will receive an email at most every hour. If you have been logged on Azendoo and read all your notifications during this time frame, you will not receive a digest email. However, if you have read some of your notifications while you were logged, but not all of them, you will receive a digest email with only the missed ones.

The time frame can be changed in the email notifications settings page . You can set the time frame to:

  • 15 minutes

  • 30 minutes

  • 1 hour

  • 2 hours

  • 6 hours

  • 12 hours

  • 1 day

This is what a notification digest email looks like:

It includes the last 4 notifications for each Workspace, and clicking on a link opens the notified object directly in Azendoo.

Configuration

Head to your personal settings, and select the notifications tab. From here you have the option to activate and configure your digest email settings. Simply select the time frame that best suits your needs.

You can also keep other email settings activated to receive individual notifications for the selected events via email instantly.
