Some tasks may become difficult to open when the task description is too long, or the text inside has been pasted from text editors like word.

When pasting text from text editors, make sure to remove formatting by using the following keyboard shortcuts:

  • Paste-without-formatting on a PC: Ctrl-Shift-V

  • Paste-without-formatting on a Mac: Cmd-Opt-Shift-V

To troubleshoot an existing task with this issue follow these steps:

  1. Open any other task to display on the right side

  2. Click the task concerned by the issue

  3. Wait a few moments for the task to open

  4. Select and copy the task description

  5. Paste the task description in a temporary text editor (like word)

  6. Delete the task description and save by clicking outside of the task description

  7. Paste the text back in the description without text formatting (using the keyboard shortcut above)

This should fix the task. If not, reach out via the chat bubble on the right =>
