If you have a task that you'd like to complete regularly, you can use repeating tasks.

You just have to set a task to be recurring, and choose how frequently it should repeat.

Go to your tasks, create a new task or open an existing task.

Fly over the Work planned area to view the repeat button on the right:

Choose if the task should repeat Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly:

"Starts on" allows to set when the repetition pattern should start to apply from/

Validate using the green button or by clicking anywhere in the task.

A summary is then displayed:

When is the next task created?
The next possible repeating tasks is created when the "current" task is completed and according to the defined pattern. So until you complete the current task, the next one won't be created.

If you were on holidays, and didn't complete a task everyday as it should, then you only have one task in your list for today. You can always know what has been done using the completed tasks view.

How to change recurring periodicity?
Just click Repetition activated and change what needs to be changed.

How to remove recurrence?

  • select never in the options
  • hit the cross at the right of the repeating options pane
  • or delete the task that supports the repeating options

What happens when I complete a repeating task?
The next task is created. Azendoo just looks for the next possible date, according to the repeating options.
